Privacy
One email address. Nothing else.
This page has no analytics and no tracking scripts. It asks for a single thing: the email address you type into the download form.
The email
The address is sent to /api/subscribe on this site and stored on
Cloudflare. It is used to send you the download link, and release notes when a version
ships. It is never sold or shared.
The form also sends the page name (marketing) and the operating system your
browser reports (linux, macos, windows or
unknown) so the download link matches your machine. Nothing else is sent.
To stop receiving email, use the unsubscribe link in any message, or reply to any email from MQTT Deck and ask to be removed. The address is deleted. You do not need an account to do either.
For sixty seconds, a hash of your IP address is kept to stop repeated submissions. It is not stored with your email, and it expires on its own.
The app
The desktop app is separate from this page. MQTT Deck sends anonymous usage analytics and crash reports so bugs can be fixed. They are on by default, and one switch in Settings turns them off completely. The app never sends a broker address, topic, payload or credential, and there are no accounts.
The app is not telemetry-free. This page is. The full list of events and properties is in the app's privacy document.
Downloads and links
Downloads are served from GitHub Releases. Following a release or repository link takes you to GitHub, and GitHub's privacy policy applies there. Fonts on this page are served from this site. There are no third-party requests.
Contact
Reply to any email from MQTT Deck, or open an issue at github.com/alexsofroniev/mqttdeck. A request to delete your address is handled by hand.
